At MM Square International, we recognize that the integrity of our premium products relies heavily on the quality of their packaging. As an international exporter dealing with both heavy natural stones and delicate agricultural commodities, we implement specialized, industrial-grade packaging solutions. Our strict packaging standards are designed to mitigate risks during ocean transit, prevent contamination, endure varying climate zones, and guarantee that every shipment arrives at its global destination in pristine condition.
1. Natural Stone and Granite Packaging
Due to the immense weight and structural nature of granite slabs, blocks, and monuments, our packaging is engineered for extreme durability, balance, and mechanical handling protection.
Heavy-Duty Wooden Crates: All polished slabs and monuments are packed in robust, seasoned wooden crates or strong A-frames. The wood used undergoes strict heat treatment and fumigation compliance in accordance with ISPM-15 international standards to prevent pest infestation.
Surface Protection: To avoid friction, scratches, or color transfers during maritime motion, every single granite slab is separated by thin plastic sheets, foam layers, or polished face-to-face padding.
Reinforced Securing: Crates are tightly bound using high-tensile steel or heavy-duty nylon strapping. Internal wooden brackets and foam blocks are utilized inside the containers to choke and brace the cargo, preventing any shifting during rough sea transits.
2. Agricultural Commodities, Spices, and Grains Packaging
For our agricultural division, packaging priorities shift toward absolute hygiene, shelf-life preservation, moisture barrier defense, and compliance with global food safety standards.
Moisture and Aroma Barriers: Whole and milled spices (such as Turmeric, Chilli, and Black Pepper) are packed in multi-layer, food-grade polymer pouches, laminated aluminum bags, or high-density polyethylene (HDPE) bags. This seals in natural volatile oils and completely blocks external moisture and humidity.
Bulk Grain Bags: Grains, seeds, and nuts are shipped in premium, breathable woven polypropylene (PP) bags or multi-wall paper sacks that prevent tearing while allowing appropriate micro-ventilation to avoid mold development.
Fresh Fruit Protection: Our fresh fruits are packed in corrugated fiberboard boxes featuring custom ventilation cutouts. Internal trays, individual tissue wrapping, or protective foam sleeves are utilized to eliminate bruising from movement.
3. Containerization and Environmental Protocols
The final stage of our packaging policy focuses on the secure arrangement and climate control of goods inside shipping containers.
Strict Cargo Segregation: We strictly enforce a policy of zero cross-contamination. Agricultural products and natural stone orders are processed, packed, and containerized in entirely separate workflows to maintain food safety compliance.
Moisture Control: High-absorption silica gel packets and industrial container desiccants are strategically placed inside agricultural shipments to combat container rain caused by temperature fluctuations across oceanic trade routes.
Clear Compliance Labeling: Every export unit is clearly marked with waterproof industrial labels detailing the batch number, origin, net/gross weight, barcoding, expiration dates (where applicable), and safety handling symbols like "Handle With Care" or "This Side Up".
4. Our Commitment to Sustainability
MM Square International actively balances cargo safety with environmental responsibility. We strive to source recyclable polymers, biodegradable paper materials, and sustainably harvested wood for our crates, reducing our global carbon footprint without sacrificing transit safety.
